Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Word Warriors (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. Questions: privacy@codia.tech.

Information we collect

Account data. If you create an account, we store your email address and chosen username via our authentication provider (Supabase), so you can sign in and appear on leaderboards.

Gameplay data. We store your matches, guesses, ratings, and daily results to run the game, rankings, and stats.

Guest play. If you play the Daily Challenge without an account, your progress is kept only in your own browser (local storage) and is not sent to or stored on our servers.

Technical data. Like most sites, our hosting provider (Vercel) and database processes standard request logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) to operate and secure the service.

Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We use local storage to remember guest game progress and your advertising-consent choice. Advertising cookies are only set after you accept (see below).

Advertising

We may show ads through Google AdSense to keep Word Warriors free. Where required (e.g. the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before any personalized-advertising cookies are set, using the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can decline and still use the site. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits; learn more and opt out at Google’s Advertising page.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), and Google (advertising, with consent). Each processes data under its own terms.

Your choices and rights

You can change your advertising-consent choice at any time by clearing site data. You may request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing privacy@codia.tech. Word Warriors is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
